I see a monetary value below each post. I cringe and yet I kvell.
"Your labor has worth", my miniature shoulder capitalist argues. "Why should the work you provide others go uncompensated? Money is the marker of value."
But that isn't always true. I give without calculation to my wife, as she gives to me.
"Strangers on the Internet aren't your wife," is the snap rejoinder.
Well no, but we all share freely, and that's what makes the Internet great.
"The free sharing enabling Facebook to sell your data to all comers?" asks mini capitalist. "The everything must be free attitude making that their only viable business model?"
