Whats up everybody? My name is Belmont and I'm from a small town in south Georgia. I began my delve into cryptos back in February when I was trying to get back into playing texas holdem. It had been years since I played and I was looking for a hobby, something that I have always had problems finding to any extent. I set up a Coinbase account and threw $200 in each account; bitcoin and ethereum. It didnt take long for me to realize that I still sucked at poker and my money was doing its own little thing.

Fast forward to a few months later, on my birthday at the end of May. I had been doing research for months and watched the market grow. Since I have always enjoyed building computers, I knew I wanted to have a mining rig. So for my birthday I decided to go all in and build two rigs. All my stuff arrived in about two weeks and it's been up and running since (375mh/s of ETH on 13 GTX 1070s). While it does seem that the impending doom of over mining is upon us, I must say that overall I have enjoyed the experience and enjoy diversifying my portfolio when payments come in. When Eth no longer becomes profitable or when I see more potential elsewhere I will look into mining other coins. For now, I think my diversification is helping through Eth dips.

I think Steem has tremendous potential. So much so, that it has got this 30 something introvert to come out of his shell a bit. I hope to meet others on here that are on the journey as well as using this platform to express my ideas and engage others. Any question, please feel free to ask. Be sure to hit that upvote if I'm doing this right. Thanks for reading! Have a great day!!!!
