Got to know about steemit during the Borneo Blockchain Summit in Sept 2018 and registered but never really looked into it until #Danieldoughty spoke about it again as an invited speaker in a social entrepreneurship program called pitchborneo on 17 Nov 2018. It was only then I started to try it out- awesome! told myself I should have started earlier. well, I guess it's never too late in blockchain as the chain is never ending, right?
My name is Saverinus Kitingan, born 48 years ago in the highlands of Borneo where my ancestors used to do headhunting long before there was facebook. I'm a Certified Trainer (HRDF) and has been doing training since 2011 where I started my own program called Sabah Got Ideas (SGI) and later re-branded it to Pitchborneo in 2014 - a platform for startups to reimagine, generate, develop, refine and pitch ideas. My dream is to create as many entrepreneurs locally (Sabah North Borneo) through pitchborneo. I channel my efforts through an NGO called Sabah Techpreneur Association (SATA) with a vision "A Techpreneur in Every Family" - imagine the impact on socio-economic if we have at least one entrepreneur in every family....... Yes! my passion is in social entrepreneurship.
