World of Blockchains and Cryptocurrencies
New to Steemit, but not the wonderful world of #blockchains and #cryptocurrencies! I remember an article about Ethereum catching my eye in early 2016. Since then I have devoted as much free time as possible to learning everything about this space. After buying my first ETH from Coinbase and sending it to my own private wallet I could see just how revolutionary this stuff is.
Left the Corporate World
I spent the majority of my professional career as an Analyst for a bank, followed by an Analyst role at an insurance company. While those were enjoyable jobs, I could not get my mind off of this new tech. Through investing in ETH, BTC, and a bunch of ICOs I was able to take a leap of faith and pursue this new passion full time. Do not be mistaken though, there are no lambos or moon missions. It's now a diet of Ramen noodles and PB&Js, wondering if I will ever get to eat a real meal again.

To put my free time to good use I started updating my website frequently. It focuses on #tutorials to some of the most frequent questions I see on various forums. These include things like adding a custom token to MyEtherWallet, checking balances on EtherScan, and setting up a Neon wallet for storing NEO. The guides have screenshots and are step-by-step to make it as easy as possible. I believe making newcomers experiences less frustrating will only help with the adoption of blockchains and cryptocurrencies.
Check it out if you are interested, or show newcomers that might need a little extra help when creating their first wallets. I will also be posting tutorials on Steemit, so be on the lookout for those as well!
Since I am new here, please recommend anything you have really enjoyed about Steemit that I should check out!
