My name is Mike and I'm stoked to be part of the young and growing Steem community. I live and work in Las Vegas surrounded by bright lights, expensive bottles and crazy people. But this is not what defines me. I just turned 40 years old and have decided that I want to get better...at EVERYTHING. Hence the name for my site: "Born at Forty".
No more complaining about my physique. No more griping about my job. No more excuses for not taking vacations. No more slacking on my art (check me out on the interwebs as "scabb99"). No more being shy around other people. Its time to live bigger. I'm about half way through my expected years and I'm gonna burn the candle at both ends...with nuclear grenades and rocket fuel flamethrowers!
I'm hoping to post my journey regularly through this site as well as my other social platforms so you can all experience my embarrassing moments, my triumphs and everything in between. Yes there will be pictures. Yes there will be lots of details. Yes I'm gonna lay it all out there. Its not gonna be pretty at first; I'm not a good writer or a great photographer. Not yet, anyway.
