Hi,
My name is Rebeka. I'm a qualified coach and yoga instructor. I love travelling, discovering new places, cultures and food and connecting with people from different countries. I've lived in 4 countries so far, mostly working as an ESL teacher, but last year I decided it was time for a new kind of adventure and started my business in Life and Language Coaching. It's been an exciting journey for me and although it had its ups and downs I've gained a lot from the experience.
I believe that life is an adventure and we ourselves are the only obstacles in making it amazing. Both as a coach and as a teacher I'm trying to assist people in discovering the strength within that enables them to make positive changes and it makes me excited to see the progress they make. Listening to other people also helps me to develop. After all, we are all a work in progress.
Yoga has been a part of my life for about 8 years and although I'm not one of those super bendy "I can touch my forehead with my toes from a backbend" kind of people (unfortunately) yoga has given me so much I can't even describe. Last year I had to give up travelling for a while and yoga was one of my biggest consolations. As a teacher it's not easy to find the right teacher for yourself (just because there are so many yoga instructors out there and they might not know more than you do) but luckily I discovered Iyengar yoga and it was a game-changer. I learnt so much and I gained so much both as a teacher and as a student... but before I get too cheesy (can easily happen when I talk/write about yoga) it's better to change the topic. If you decide to follow me you'll probably have plenty of opportunity to read about yoga, anyways.
Another thing that I love just as much as yoga is travelling (as I mentioned above) so you'll probably see a lot of travel related posts from me as well. I love sharing funny or interesting stories and as I have a tendency of getting into funny situations you can expect a few of those.
I'd also like to use this space to share some things that I learnt along the way: coaching, travelling and practising yoga; and hope that I'll be able to connect with others and learn even more.
