#Introduceyourself Of Midnight Coffee and Writing

My name is Maureen, and I am from the Philippines!
I first started writing when I was in high school, but being the constant nomad that I am, I haven’t seen a good platform to publish my works yet. So, I would first like to thank my good friend, Hive account@josejirafa for introducing me to the community! Erratic thoughts and emotions pumped through my bloodstream when you dropped the line, “If you need a home for your thoughts, the community will be there for you.” So I guess this officially starts here!

Way back, writing was just an unconscious attempt of satisfying my inner self’s constant drive of wanting to pacify my thoughts. You see, my thoughts have the tendency to excite themselves and start to wander eccentrically inside my head. If I’m lucky enough, I’ll be able to remember the constantly transient ideas that keep me awake at night. Most of the time, they run too fast that I can’t seem to delve further on a thought, hence the desperate need to write all of them down kicks in. Writing, for me, is like adrenaline pumping through my nerves. It gives me that amount of indescribable satisfaction that brings me to an elevated sense of liberation. So if you’ll allow me, I would like to build a home for my thoughts in this growing community; I'll share my best narratives, poetry and fill this home with words that bleeds through my emotions. I am so excited to be finally here!!
