Greetings and Welcome Aboard,
I am a bus driving musician from San Francisco.
I have been in The City since the times when it was accetable to smoke inside of buses. I remember being a fluffy haired kindergardner using a coin to get on the bus, and taking it all the way to school, all by myself.
Riding bikes and swimming in lakes and rivers was normal and accepted. Children ran in the streets and families could afford to live, without having to have roomates living in their basement and attic.
I remember walking the Golden Gate bridge, before there were dividers to keep pedestrians safe from cars, and I remember when there weren't so many ... cars.
I remember the time before thousands of Uber and Lyft drivers crowded the roadways and I remember when the Castro looked different then the Mission which looked different than Potrero Hill.
I appreciate the new opportunites that has come with making San Francisco a tech mecca, but my nostalgia sometimes gets in the way of bragging about a millineal filled city who doesnt understand why gentrification is so bad.
Still, San Francisco has a natural beauty and a distinct flavor. Welcome to my blog, where I hope to share some of that with you.
