This has been a such a long time coming!
It’s funny because the name of this post is the start of my journey but the thing is that my journey has been going for years.
For years I have been going through this cycle, a cycle where I begin a project but don’t follow through and finish it.
Sometimes I made good money with my projects and other times it ended before it even began. It took me a while before I realized that the best project I would work on would be myself.
I can remember back when I first started my entrepreneurial journey. Me, my wife, and 2 kids were stuffed in a 2 bedroom apartment in Atlanta back in 2014.
I had so much inventory it was ridiculous! I had just started my online t-shirt business. I had a huge heat press, which I still have, t-shirts everywhere along with all the different items I was selling on eBay and Amazon.
My job had pissed me off so much that I was determined to work for myself! I jumped at every opportunity and ran after every shiny object I saw. Shiny object syndrome for sure!
It was a madhouse but we managed to get a lot of things done. We were doing retail arbitrage, hitting yard sales, as well as printing t-shirts for our e-commerce store. I had even started an Etsy store selling vintage video games.

At some point down the road I experienced burnout from trying to do so many things at once so I had decided that I would focus only on my ecommerce business.
At this point I had stopped working the job I had and only made money from selling on my ecommerce site.
Everything was going great! But……
I had greatly underestimated how much money I should of had saved, the money needed to continuously run ads, the amount of inventory I had to keep and my willingness to get up everyday and print t-shirts.
I had realized that instead of being a true entrepreneur, I had created another job for myself. And to add to all of that, I had no structure to what I was doing. I was just going and doing…..
So once again I had to hit the reset button. I had to find something that I was passionate and didn’t mind doing everyday.
And that brings us to where I am today.
I am a firm believer that we do not fail because everything is a learning experience. Now if you don’t learn from your past experiences then that’s a different story.
I am a person who is always reading books, taking online course, and just learning in general. What better project could I work on other than myself???
Steemit gives me the chance to document my journey in life and share so much of what I’m learning in the crypto space as well as other topics.
Steemit literally gives me the chance to invest in myself on a decentralized platform while giving value to others.
Even though my journey has been going for years, I feel that now it is just starting.
I’m loving Steemit and the community and I’m so proud to give value and share parts of me with you all.
My plans on this platform is to post at a minimum of 5 posts per day. I would love to have some accountability partners so if you are reading this far and is up for the challenge let me know.

Crypto is a new found love so anytime I can provide tutorials or share interesting news I won’t hesitate.
I love studying wealth, money, and how it works, pretty much came along with crypto.

Last but not least I love my health. I feel like I have jumped over the crossroads and I have to pay more attention to my health. Follow me on my journey as I look to live a healthier lifestyle!
