Hi guys, my name is Carol, I’m 23. Today, I want to start introducing an incredible island in Brazil - Florianópolis, the place where I was born and raised.
Florianópolis has 42 beaches, many trails and several waterfalls, some lakes, and dunes. This island is well-known in Brazil as the magic island, because there are a lot of myths about the witches who lived here and became rocks in the sea. Furthermore, this island has a famous and beautiful university, where a lot of exchange students come here every year. Since every place has it's good and bad side, I want to show you some social problems and the real life of Florianópolis.
In each post, I’ll show you a beach, waterfall or trail with information about the place, transportation, restaurants, etc. If you have a doubt, feel free to ask me. If you have already heard about Florianópolis and are curious to meet one beach I can show it to you.
