My name is Andrés Campos and I am from Costa Rica. This is my first time in Steemit.
I live in a country that believes in making a president's transition act with no high security it's fine, allowing people to interact with presidents from all over the world, while everybody is being transported in a hydrogen bus, made by a costarican astronaut. A country that is starting to accept the new cryptocurrencies, that just created an ecologic type of currency, just not based on Blockchain yet, but more to exchange what you recycle for industry coupons. We are on the way and it's called Eco-colones.
I use Steemit as a way to share and get knowledge about the topics I like, to put my country on the crypto-map and to invest in this new way of exchanging. I want first-hand information to be available for everybody, from people that are actually experiencing it. This platform is a great way to put things together, to get feedback and to create your brand or project and give it to the world.
When there was no money around the globe, the indigenous people planed their food plantations for the year with the use of Ayahuasca. For those who don't know Ayahuasca, it's a medicine/psychotropic brew used hundreds of years ago in the Amazon, that is now expanding globally. It's mostly known as a female spirit from a plant, that communicates with humans through visions, feelings, ideas, telepathy and such. Others feel it male or with no defined gender.
Through her visions, she used to tell them the weather and the possible places to grow certain things, and that's how they survived. Ayahuasca is a tool that can be used to clean the body, for spiritual healing, to know relevant things from the world, this is an ancient art that we are just re-discovering. You give the power to what you want to do with Ayahuasca.
"Things and skills have a certain value, and you need to start creating your own value, based on what you can do"
With all this crypto-currencies we are creating, we are making new assets, new values to human skills and new horizons. For me, Steemit adds value to me as a person and helps me develop in what I like to do. I am willing to learn.
Being able to do this with the help of the crypto-world and Blockchain is really an honor. I am looking forward to providing specific content about plant medicine (Ayahuasca), shamanic rituals, holistic arts, IT education projects, poetry and life experiences. My experience as a blogger is one year, I have a blog about call centers in Costa Rica that has received more than 20.000 visits so far. I am now in the process of starting this project called Casa de la Luz (house of light). I want to create information about holistic therapies, alternative education, the safe use of crypto-currencies, first-hand Ayahuasca healing experiences, plant growing manuals and bring people from all over the world together to help. I have experience with WorkAwayers and it's been fantastic. The name reveled to me in a vision when drinking Ayahuasca.
I am initiated in the Shipibo tradition from Perú, waited a long time for my call and finally, it came. I guide Ayahuasca ceremonies now, started last year, and my main focus is about helping others understand the interaction with the plant to evolve as individuals and society. She speaks in a particular language, the language of the dreams as shamans say and I've been using this medicine for quite a few years for me too. I don't consider myself a guru or a shaman, the plant has taught me that I have to be myself more than ever, in order to continue helping others with it. I will stay as human as possible on this journey, while these plants are telling me things and provoking visions. I want to discover how much this is a communication with entities and the expansion of your senses, to its origins. This is a secret technology that has to be put out there.
I have influences from poets like Jorge Debravo, a costarican artist, Carl G Jung and his analytical psychology style, Alejandro Jodorowsky with his astounding and out-of-this-world movies and art, Carlos Casteñeda and his stories about a Mexican sorcerer called don Juan Matus, Terence McKenna and his endless adventures with all kinds of psychedelics, Daniel Pinchbeck, Ernesto Sabato, also Peruvian and Mexican Shamanism.
Thank you for having me, Steemit Community. I will keep posting soon.
