Hope you all are enjoying your weekend, Steemians! I seem to think weekends are always too short (am I only one who thinks this?) I had to break my introduction into a few parts because I really want to highlight how I love art and being in the outdoors (figured being in the outdoors and spending my time traveling and vacationing have somewhat parallel similiarties). To view my previous post that talks about my interest in art, feel free to visit it and leave a comment:

Reasons why I love to TRAVEL:
| . | . |
|---|---|
| T | astebuds dancing around - I am a wannabe foodie |
| R | emembering how beautiful the people and landscape is around you |
| A | dapting to new environment |
| V | acationing makes me a better version of ourselves |
| E | scape normal life and experience new culture |
| L | ive and be in the moment |
Who have had a stressful day, week, month, or even year? I certainly have! 🙋 As a way to de-stress, I chose to travel and vacation. I only had 6 days to travel, so I needed to pick somewhere close to the Pacific ocean and was more affordable. I chose to go to
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
I absolutely love big bodies of water, it's something what I call:
'BLUE SPACE'
expansive views and sound of the ocean water calms my mind. If I can live anywhere, it would certainly be by an ocean, and specifically, by the beach. I have sat staring at an ocean and somehow found some of my problems seem to slowly melt away. (Am I the only one who feels this way?)
R&R (REST & RELAXATION)
while some say sunbathing can 'drain' you, I’d like to argue that it actually gives me the gift of total relaxation. After spending time at the beach and later taking a shower, I am practically asleep before my head hits the pillow. Underlying reasoning on why I consider it a gift: to declutter my mind and renew my sense of purpose.
I took a cooking class to learn how to make authentic seafood ceviche (with salsa, pico de gallo, guacamole), strawberry margarita, and culinary traditions with a paella cooking lesson (which, we cooked for the whole tour group to later eat!) Here is the end product:
Do you remember the internet sensation, SALTBAE? May I beCilantroBae? 😂
