Welcome steemit new geek- chess , science and fun

I'm Adetilewa Jeremiah Adeola,Founder of Chess Brainiacs.

Am a proud Nigerian based In Lagos, I have a degree in science laboratory technology in Yabatech college of education (Yabatech)where I was officially introduced to chess by a course mate who later dropped chess to study physics squarely In unilag.

I guess the reason why I really love the game is because it challenges my mental abilities and the fact that there is this crazy urge of wanting to be better and better at it. I noticed that the awareness for chess in Nigeria is very low which actually prompted the reason why I started Chess Brainiacs.

What is Chess Brainiacs?

Chess Brainiacs is an organization aimed at promoting chess in Nigeria and Africa as a whole through going to primary and secondary schools establishing a chess club there which actual aim is to teach chess to young children gradually creating a generation of geniuses and building better, strategic,analytic, problem solving , tactical and better thinking leaders for the country, these are just a few benefits of playing chess, the fun aspect of playing chess again is that you play what you enjoy and still get enormous benefits for it.

STEEMIT AND CHESS

My brother introduced me to steemit some few weeks ago Hive account@stojay007 , and I thought to my self , this is a great platform to promote chess and also in turn promote steemit , so CHESS BRAINIACS is basically on steemit to promote and create awareness for both steemit and chess altogether great right? Just like killing two birds with a stone, am hoping to join/established a big community of chess enthusiast and players alike here on steemit and together we can promote chess and steemit....
