The art of introducing myself doesn't always come easy for me. I might end up saying too much, which would make me sound narcissistic, and on the other hand, I might not say enough to give you a perfect picture of who I am. So, how do I fall in between? I don't know. But I will try.π
I'm good at many things(Did I not warn you about my penchant for blowing my own trumpet?π) but I will let you in on the one(s) I do better but that would be me going before myself.
My name is Chidi Arua. My age is not your business(or is it?π) but I can assure you that I look way older than how I should, going by the number of years I've spent in your planet(do not bother to ask about my planet.π). I live in a small-big city and those who lived here before everyone else named her Uyo. I attend the city varsity, University of Uyo, where I'm majoring in Civil Engineering(a little advice for you: studying engineering will leave your brains hanging out of your head like a washed panty left to dry in the bathroomπ).
I believe God brought me into this planet to do not too many a thing, but one of the things commissioned to me is writing. I write. I write, people. I write. That is why I'm here. To share my talent and help contribute to the development of this community. I have no doubt about the learning opportunities that abound in this community. I will learn, too. I thank for introducing me to this community.
I write fiction and non fiction. On days when the world loses her colour and everything is painted in black and white, I do poetry. But I would not have you bank on this.π
When I'm not doing any of the things I've mentioned so far, you can catch me singing in the bathroom, playing video games, and, much to my mother's opposition, playing football.
Again, my name is Chidi Arua, and spinning stories is my game.π
