Samson is for the “introducemyself” and I am for the “introduceyourself!” Yes, we are both real persons! Let me start with a story about Samson:
First of all, Samson is not my cat; rather I am his human. You see I’m actually more of a dog person and so if I had picked a pet it would have been a dog. But since what happened was that Samson picked me we are a pair!
Samson is an old cat. He was born on July 27, 2001 – which, according to http://catyearschart.com/ , he is over 80 human years old! So he is even older than I am!!!
But one day, back when Samson was just a young kitten, he had attempted to open the door to a bird cage so he could get to the bird inside, who had thought he was safe inside. At least that is what was assumed to have happened. Because you see as Beth (Samson’s former human) came into the room she witnessed one cat locked up inside the bird cage and one bird perched outside on top of the bird cage! Beth saw this and laughed as Samson stood there inside the bird cage, but not thinking that it was so funny! LOL!
As for me, I cannot compete with a story from my life that would top Samson's story. I'm just happy that I am able to facilitate Samson's happiness as he enjoys his last days on earth here in our home. I will surely miss him when his time comes!
Aside from some fun and frolics here on Steemit, I intend to provide a series of instructions concerning an ancient form of Christianity known as "Marcionite Christianity." These instructions will be directed mainly to a Portuguese speaking audience in Brazil. It is hoped that I will draw members of this Marcionite community to Steemit to participate in the series of instructions. But of course, they will be open, and available in English, here at Steemit for anyone who might be interested. If anyone is interested in the true origins of historic Christianity you might want to follow me and learn what Marcionite Christianity is all about! It's probably not anything like what you think it is. One of the first true stories I wish to talk about in the not too distant future is what happened around the year 130 CE when a man named Marcion of Sinope sent what could be called a female "apostle" by the name of Marcellina to the ancient city of Rome to establish one of the earliest Christian sects there in the city of Rome. (I think likely the very first Christian sect in Rome!) Look for the story that I am anxious to tell you about in some future postings, as I think you'll find it quite surprising!
This post, as well as many future posts, will be paired with the translation into Portuguese for my Portuguese speaking friends in Brazil.
I would like to thank you all for letting me join the Steemit community!
