2000 June and July – I went to Bulgaria again. I was deeply in love with the intentions to marry Vicky, this was the easiest if not only way Vicky could get a visa to live in Miami with me. We met in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. This was Vicky’s first time every leaving her town Varna where she was born and grew up. We stayed in cheap hotels and went shopping everyday, we went clubbing and for rides in the mountains. It was wonderful. I love the food in Bulgaria. I worked everyday in Internet cafes and my web site business was booming. I remember this time like a honeymoon before the wedding. It was great.
In the months prior I had many conversations with Vicky about who I am, and she knew I did not believe in marriage. I explained to her that I just started making all this money and I plan to do allot of traveling and partying, and that she would not be the only woman in my life. We had this conversation many times, and she was very understanding and ready to be with me anyway. Vicky’s parents do not speak English, but Vicky told me she explained to her parents and older sister Sylvia what I said about marriage. They were all very nice to me at all times. Vicky’s father is a jeweler and he designed our wedding rings. Before getting married we had to get medical and mental exams done, it is required in Bulgaria, that was about 1 week of running around. We were married on July 9, everything was in Bulgarian language. We went to what Bulgarians called a “Marriage House”. Vicky told me to say “Da” to all the questions.. that means “Yes”. It was a small wedding with just her family and a witness. There was music and we marched down the Isle together. when it was time to kiss vikcy seem to forget, she remembered when she saw me trying to kiss her, it was funny. The wedding lasted about 20 minutes. It was a very nice wedding, I would not change anything. Vicky has the video. I went back to Miami the next day on July 10 because I needed to attend court about Cashe. Vicky stayed in Bulgaria to finish school and do the paperwork to get her visa. I returned to Florida and enrolled Cashe in Montessori School of Miami Beach.
