A wise man once said, “You need to check out STEEMIT!”
Then he said it again. And again. And finally, after weeks of repeating himself in one of my many ill-conceived group chats, I was on my first trip to Zion and decided I would join after the hike down. Thanks
[insert some inspirational quote about dreaming big 'n stuff]
Very early on, I decided that normality is overrated. As such, my life has more or less played out like a movie. I have some ridiculous stories, have been places few can ever see, done things that could’ve been pulled from a Michael Bay script, and have had the chance to meet some amazing people in the process. I’ve learned life lessons from my days of blackjack card counting, dated incredible women and gained new perspectives on human nature in the Pickup Artist community, escaped a country just before it broke out into chaos, saved a life or two, dodged at least 1 bullet, started multiple businesses, and am learning how to speak husky (if you have one, you’ll know what I’m talking about).
I'm gonna write a book about it all one day. Until then, I figure that I can share some of my thoughts here and meet/learn from even more amazing people in this community. Not sure exactly what to focus my articles on yet, but I’m sure I’ll have some ideas very soon. I ask a lot of questions and am always learning. I hope that some of the experiences I write about can provide insight--or at least entertainment--as well. Glad I was able to join this party early (normally I’m fashionably late), and can't wait to see how much Steemit will grow!
Oh yeah... this is Xena, the husky teaching me to speak her language. I'll probably end up sharing some of her adventures as well:
