Crypto3s, and this is my introduction post.I'll admit, introducing myself is a bit intimidating, but here we go!
Who Am I?
I'm thrilled to join Hive and become a positive, active member here. I hope we can connect, collaborate, and build long-lasting friendships.
I鈥檝e always loved sports鈥攅specially Basketball and Football. Back in school (what feels like a lifetime ago!), I played sports and did pretty well. Not to toot my own horn, but I was kind of a star! Unfortunately, an injury ended my dreams of going pro. After graduating, I had to find my path in the world. Being the youngest of 8 kids, with 4 brothers and 3 sisters, meant I had to work hard for everything I wanted. It made me stronger and kept me humble.
When the pandemic hit, the company I worked at for 17 years shut down, forcing over 300 families鈥攊ncluding mine鈥攖o find new ways to earn a living overnight. It was devastating, but I took a leap of faith and started a small business offering home organization and design services. Things took off quickly, and I even hired three employees. The calls kept coming, and life seemed to be on track.
Then disaster struck. One day, a dump truck T-boned my vehicle while I was driving.
Two years and three surgeries later, I found myself searching once again for a way to support my family. That鈥檚 when I started flipping thrift store finds on Amazon and eBay. It was tough, but I found resilience in the process.
Through these challenges, I鈥檝e learned to embrace life鈥檚 twists and turns. I鈥檝e grown stronger and rediscovered my passion for self-expression and personal growth.
Answer: I鈥檓 still figuring it out, and that鈥檚 okay.
Why Am I Here?
I鈥檓 here to expand my Hive family, grow both mentally and financially, and contribute to this incredible community. I truly believe that when everyone works together, we can create something powerful. Like bees in a hive, each of us has a role, and I鈥檓 ready to do my part.
I鈥檓 passionate about organizing events and fundraisers to help those in need. We live in challenging times, and there鈥檚 so much we can accomplish by supporting one another. I鈥檓 excited to be part of the growth and development of the Hive community, meeting people from around the globe who share similar interests and passions.
