Hello, Steemians!
We are the Crypto Globe staff members and we're thrilled to be here and introduce ourselves to your welcoming and ever-expanding decentralised social network. Unlike plenty of publications from the space, we take pride in being objective, bold, investigative, and incisive in regards to the topics that we're covering, and we're doing our best to present the information in the least biased way possible. You may check out our industrious work at: https://www.cryptoglobe.com (subscribe to our free newsletter too!).
Perhaps that our only bias is that we're bullish on cryptocurrencies, we believe in the power of Bitcoin, and we do our best to deconstruct and take down every source of FUD. When the events are legitimate and worthy of being presented, our articles present them as such. But when fake news and greedy shilling emerges in the space, we do our best to deconstruct it and explain to our readers what's really happening and how to avoid getting fooled.
The reason we exist is that we strongly believe that cryptocurrency enthusiasts deserve well-written and objective news, rigorous technical analyses, and balanced op-eds.
We've had our fair share of disillusionment with the information you may find on social media, and sometimes it's as if very few people have any kind of decency and objectivity at all. Furthermore, some of the biggest names in the crypto news space have no problem taking money to promote scams, shill scammy ICOs, and embed sale pitches within their articles.
That's something that we aren't willing to do, and we will do our best to grow organically and based on hard work and merit. It would be our great pleasure to become one of your main sources of information, and we can't wait to discuss the latest news with you, the Steemit community!
Our pledge to you is that you will always find the best and most balanced content on Crypto Globe, and we will stay away from the nasty tactics of the competition. It would also be great if you could share and vote for our articles, as the extra Steem coins can potentially help us remain independent and not take money from big businesses in the crypto space. Ultimately, it's the reader and the quality standard that one expects that influences journalism, and we strongly believe in this symbiosis.
We are based in London, England, and we have staff members from diverse backgrounds who write insightful, thoughtful, and qualitative pieces. This is your chance to meet them!
Siamak Masnavi received his PhD in Computer Science from University of London in 1992. He has worked as a research scientist, technical author, software developer, and journalist. Since 2014, he has been researching cryptocurrencies and other applications of blockchain technology.
Francisco Memoria is a cryptocurrency writer who's in love with technology and focuses on helping people see the value digital currencies have. His work has been published in numerous reputable industry publications. Francisco holds various cryptocurrencies.
Azeez Mustapha is a foreign exchange trader, a market analyst at InstaForex (www.instaforex.com) and Tallinex.com, a blogger at ADVFN.com and a freelance author for trading magazines and websites, including www.ituglobalforex.blogspot.com. He has broad experience in forex trading, coaching and funds management. Outside of work, Azeez’s interests are literature, good music and keeping fit. (Editor's note: he is responsible for our awesome and reliable technical analysis articles, and we're lucky to have him on board!).
Avi Rosten is a writer working for a healthcare start-up with a keen interest in the cryptocurrency space and how Blockchain is impacting wider society. In his spare time he enjoys long-distance running, chess and retro video games.
Daniel Welbers is a cryptocurrency enthusiast that was immediately enchanted by the decentralization aspect of cryptocurrencies. His thirst for justice and decentralization of power led him on a journey to explore the potential and impact that cryptocurrencies can have on our present society.
James McQuillan is a fine news reporter who doesn't really like to talk about himself, so we wrote this introduction for him. He may or may not own some privacy coins, and likes to write qualitative articles on some of the most discussed topics. He's also pretty fun to be around, and we all agreed that he's a reliable friend who always arrives early at the office. James is a dog person who prefers chocolate over vanilla (editor's note: yuck!).
Vlad Costea is a Romanian cryptocurrency enthusiast with a degree in political science and a strange habit of dodging 9 to 5 (Editor's note: he seems to dislike office life, works from home and elaborates long op-eds). He likes to tell the story about being assigned a university presentation about Bitcoin when the price was $100 - however, a Wall Street Journal article made him give up on the intention to buy any. Now that he can't be a crypto millionaire, he can at least write and dream on. You may also follow him on Steemit .
Our Values
News accuracy: CryptoGlobe reflects reality as it is, in an objective manner, always striving to present the facts as clearly and accurately as possible. We will also use our best endeavours to verify the stories being put forward for publication. We also love debunking FUD.
Diversity of opinion: We encourage diversity of opinion and generously host different viewpoints, evaluations, comments and analysis. We support our contributors’ freedom of expression and promote debate. Even though we often have the Bitcoin scaling debate at the office, we never try to influence the opinion of our writers. Of course BTC if Bitcoin, but there's nothing wrong with believing that BCH is closer to Satoshi's vision from the whitepaper.
Inclusivity: At CryptoGlobe inclusivity defines who we are and represents one of the key elements of our success. We work with talented people who come from different backgrounds and are open to different viewpoints regardless of culture, gender, religion, lifestyle and race.
