Hello to all of you! I'm pretty excited to be involved in this community. It seems to mix a couple of elements that I hold most dear. Namely; a future free of control (whether it be economic, informational or physical) and the free flow of ideas and concepts.
I myself am a spoken word performer and a writer. As you can imagine seeing a platform where you can share and interact with users and content immediately has me revved up and ready to go at full Steem (sorry). I will be sharing some poetry pieces, maybe some Hip Hop-ish kinds of things, as well as any writing that I think might inspire or at least spark up an important conversation.
Just a quick snippet about me; my name is Rowan, I'm from England, living in Bristol with my girlfriend and my dog (pictured below!). Ultimately, I see that we're living in a reality where dark forces have managed to root themselves into the bases of our society. HOWEVER, I do believe that humans naturally thrive in love. I want to do anything that I possibly can to encourage and nurture that. It seems that Steemit could well be part of that force for good! Much love, I can't wait share with you guys!
