When I get chances I love go out to lliano to prospect for some gold.
Its always so quiet and peaceful out here. So quiet at times you can hear the silence. Truly an eye feast out here many fascinating rocks. This area is the lliano uplift in central Texas and its the mineral region of Texas.
The gold out here is small but its out here , and you do have to work for it to find it. You wont get rich but you will have fun and when you find your first piece you just might get gold fever icth!!
I have always loved chemistry and I find it a useful tool to extract precious metals from ore, rock and electronic scrap or jewelry. I find more gold in the city than I can pan out in lliano. Most of the scrap I get is free and being tossed out or trashed.
I accumulate enough for refining.
It takes many computers to get some gold. The older the stuff the better the yields.
I mainly refine gold and silver but I do come across other metals like palladium and platinum.
Gold as always put a smile on my face even when I talk to others it seems to make others smile has well. Who knows but knowing that gold was forged in a super nova billions a years ago is cool enough for me.
I also love going on nature walks and gardening and so does my family . I am a miner at heart it seems even if its digital!
