What is up, guys? DTO Reacts here, bringing to you... my Steemit blog. I have a YouTube channel that you can find on my profile as my website. Here's an almost direct copy&paste of that channel's About page:
The date that this channel was created (April 1st, 2016) is nothing more than a coincidence. This channel is NOT an April Fools joke.
With that out of the way, the main attraction here on this channel is my reaction videos, but it's not a reaction channel. It's just a channel where I do reaction videos. The difference is that in the case of a reaction channel, reaction videos dominate everything. But on this channel, I'll post anything from reaction videos, to gaming videos, to rant videos, and so much more.
Ever since Vid.me shut down, me and my friends were desperate for a replacement. One day, I found a comment on one of my friend's videos suggesting this site called DTube, with a link to a reddit discussing the matter. I was instantly captivated by what I saw.
DTube, and, by proxy, Steemit, is exactly what we were looking for and more. Honestly, there's not much I can say that my friends haven't already said. At least not in text form. So instead, I'll just drop a link to one of my friend's blogs, as well as a video I made promoting DTube on my YouTube channel.
Steemit, I can't thank you enough for creating DTube. I don't know if it's the first of its kind, so I probably should wait before giving you all the credit, but you definitely got me interested in the whole concept of decentralization, cryptocurrency, IPFS, BLOCKCHAIN, etc. For everything that has been wrong about YouTube in the past, is wrong about YouTube today, and will be wrong about YouTube in the future, you are the solution. No more unfair censorship, no more adpocalypse, no more faulty Content ID copyright system, and no more faulty flag/report system.
