My Calligraphy Life (part 1)

Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad tip instrument, brush, or other writing instruments. A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as "the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner"

I am Randel Jaculbe (Hive account@delran1894), amateur in painting but not in drawing because I already knew how to draw when I was 4 years old. It was a good feeling when you have the talent and skills in drawing. I'm not a professional in art but I am trying my best to do some artworks that was awesome not just in my eyes but also to you guys.

So now, I want to introduce to you guys my another skills, the CALLIGRAPHY. I first saw calligraphy in facebook, the posts of some artist who loves lettering. When I was their posts, it makes me feel amaze like wow! . They did a very beautiful letterings, like quotes, bible verse and etc. They made the letters to have an emotion of the design and execution of it. So, I decided to try and buy a calligraphy pen by Zig brand and I just use scratch paper.

My first ever Calligraphy :)

By searching any tutorials and posts, I got some ideas on how can I make beautiful letters and improve my skills.

Here are some artworks as the beginning of this Calligraphy journey.

I brought a cheap watercolor to try putting a background so that it look's nice.

and I also tried to use colored ballpens

That time when I started to show to my friends in facebook my Calligraphy, I know my artworks is not awesome, not beautiful, and even not an eye catcher, but I just put on my mind and my heart the two words............
