Maybe nostalgic, customarily classic, a little jazz, once in a blue moon rock.. Even If I use these words to describe the taste of my playlist, it makes me feel as if I’m talking about myself too.
It’s impossible to disintegrate an eternal soul who’s constantly stretched by new experiences into a couple words, in order to introduce it. But, for the sake of the new friendships I’m hoping to be blessed with here on Steemit, I’ll give it a try.
Seventeen years ago, I joined the game called life. Named Dhurata (which means presents, gifts in Albanian) , I happen to be the second child of my precious parents. With a great vision in her head, this child grew up to be a student of life, rather than just another player. I don’t let my life to the mercy of fate, because I don’t believe in fate. I believe in laws. Just as Democritus said : “Everywhere man blames nature and fate, yet his fate is mostly but echo of his character and passions, his mistakes and weaknesses.”
There are no coincidences nor problems for me – only opportunities to level up.
I have many portals to another dimensions , you may call them books.. I love them more than I love drinking tea in front of the window while it’s raining. They gave me the greatest weapon ever made. Don’t worry! It’s not filled with bullets, it’s filled with ink.. Instead of destroying, it improves humanity.
My best friend happens to be a piece of wood. She never gets tired of my variable points of view.
And, when the time comes and I run out of words, well, art is always there for me.
Amazed by the unseen, I’m always in search of the enigma.
Terra Incognita, the human mind, is the puzzle I strive to solve. Perhaps we should stop dreaming about heroes with superpowers, for the one with the greatest power lies just half an inch back of our foreheads.
When the bitter rain of reality is too much to handle, nature becomes my umbrella.
Just as Emerson said: “ In the woods too, a man casts off his years, as the snake his slough, and at what period soever of life, is always a child. In the woods, is perpetual youth.”
Nature makes me feel ageless. It gives me the wings I always dreamed of having. It showers me with peace. I love it more than I love meditating at dawn.
The reason why I joined this platform, is because I want to learn and share at the same time. In the future posts of mine, you will find articles about literature, social issues, psychology and some of my life stories perhaps. Hopefully that will entertain you and help you grow as a person, for a human being is required to constantly evolve.
No matter what I’ve been told, I always come to the conclusion that words are too lazy to describe me. A person can only be described by his actions and not his words, for words can make you a king while your actions are those of a peasant. That is why I’ll let my future posts describe me. As for now, I thank you for your valuable time.. and stay tuned!
