Dividend Growth Investing (DGI) is an amazing strategy that can return steady income over long-time frames. Crypto investing is very interesting because of the aspects of emerging technology and exponential gains. I do enjoy crypto investing, but I still root the majority of my income in a portfolio of about 20 of the largest companies in the world who dominate their respective industries and pay a dividend that grows ~8-12% per year over long time-frames.
DGI is a very complicated subject and has many misconceptions about it. Many other "DGI" proponents on the internet claim huge returns but lack the ability (or will) to share the specifics of that return. It turns out that many of these proponents include capital gains in their "dividend growth" figures, causing numbers to be wildly innacurate and misleading.
My goal is to teach everyone about DGI and how it can be a driver for not only their retirement fund, but also as an income stream that can be relied upon throughout anyone's lifetime!
So who is behind ? My grandfather is the one who has studied securities and investing for decades and created this strategy. I help him with marketing, web development, and spreading awareness about DGI. Steemit is a new platform to the both of us and we are looking to make an impact with our content!
We aim to set this up as a "university" of sorts. A "DGI University" if you will. Our content will be aimed at educating aspiring as well as advanced investors about the benefits and nuances of dividend growth investing.
We've done some research on the platform and were advised to start by getting a steem power delegation to help boost awareness and give back to those who engage with our posts in the comments section!
Tomorrow, we will post more about what we'll be doing on Steemit and how you can get involved and earn some STEEM while also learning how to create a stream of income that will reliably grow for the rest of your life! Thanks for stopping by, we hope you subscribe and spread the word and we look forward to hearing from you in the comments!
Thank you!
