A Glimpse of Myself

I have no idea what I’m gonna say or how to start this thing. But here it goes, bear with me lads.

My name is Donna Jeane S. Esmero, my friends call me DJ. I am 22 years old, currently studying at Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technolocgy. I am a 4th year student taking up BS Biology major in Zoology. I am from the Philippines specifically in the “City of Golden Friendship”, Cagayan de Oro City but I am currently here in Iligan City for my studies.
I am the youngest in the family and I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. I live with my mom but since I am studying away from home I seldom see her. My mom is my inspiration, she’s my role model, and she is everything to me. I face the challenges in life heads up so that I can fulfill my dreams and help my family.

I do love nature. I prefer going to an adventure and explore the wilderness with friends than going shopping like most women do. It relieves my stress. I will also have a chance to discover the beauty of nature.

I’ve met a lot of people but I only labeled them as my acquaintances because I was an introvert. Introvert as I am, I’m not really good at socializing and a crowd makes me anxious. Until I’ve met persistent people who want me in their life and the people whom I’ve been talking about are my friends. My friends help me boost my confidence. We support each other like a family. Although we are now far apart we keep in touch and keep in mind that we are here for each other.

I know nothing about this website. Until Hive account@glenndale15000 introduced this to me and got me thinking I should try it. It seems cool and I will be able to share my thoughts and interest with you guys which are a lot. So stay tuned to my future posts. This is my first time to actually write a blog and share it to people. I may not be a pro in writing, I may not be good at it but I will do my very best to give you guys a nice and informative blog. I’m kinda nervous and at the same time very excited.

I signed up weeks ago and this friend of mine told me that they will message me a day or two. Days pass and weeks pass. I was expecting maybe there were a lot of newbies and thus they might have missed to message me. I was thinking maybe this was never meant for me. Then poof! Friday 2nd of March 2018, I got a message from steemit. And here I am!! Sharing an overview of myself. Can’t wait to start this new journey of mine with you guys!!
