I recently turned 21 years old, I'm a young web developer and a technologist. I study Computer Science at an open university which gives me enough time to work, study and enjoy myself. The only downside is the amount of time required to complete the degree itself. I love creating new things and I have quite a few ideas on how to make Steeming better: I proposed IFTTT as an automation interface for Steem, plus a proof of concept and made a Markdown Cheat Sheet! The next thing I'm bound to do is to create a fast an intuitive image resize service for Steem editor.
I wouldn't describe myself as a nerd, though my beloved girlfriend would. So I find some aspects of mathematics interesting, or program as a hobby, what's the big deal? Speaking of hobbies, besides the nerdy part (well, or on top of it) I'm an aviation enthusiast. Many hours (see picture below for exact timings) of my teenage years I spent flying virtual planes on my home flight simulator. Founding "Virtual Airlines" or joining some to fly for. It felt magical. But since I started studying I find little to no time at all to invest in flight simulation. Though I'd really like to get a private pilot license somewhen soon, in real life of course. I'm also a gamer, owning a Steam library valued over 3000$USD (that's a bit sad, but I got most of my games on promotions or discounts). Few of my most loved games are God Of War, LA Noire, Papers Please! and it's a bit embarrassing to admit - truck simulators. Yeah, I'm a simulator slut.
