“So I this one time in California…” That’s what every good story starts with, right? Or maybe its band camp…? Anyway, I’ve been in SoCal for the past few weeks on a hush-hush assignment, and I’ve met a few pretty cool people out here. One of which is a friend who’s introduced me to a new side of the internet that I’ve been looking for but didn’t know how to find. It’s awesome! I met my pal (go give him a follow!) one night over a few beers at the legendary local bar, and he starts talking about Bitcoin and other cryptos. It’s something I’ve wanted to get into for the longest time, but I never had the free time to even start to look. Until now. My man,
knows his stuff in the world of cryptocurrencies and loves to talk about it, so I was more than ready to listen. To keep the story short, he let me know what I needed to know and next thing you know, here I am working my own way into the crypto world! Go figure. He also told me about this place where “some guys even get paid to just write articles!” Well shoot, I can write, so that sounded pretty good to a broke guy like myself! Turns out Steemit is so mucn more than just making some money, and I absolutely love it.
Oh man, who am I to have not introduced myself yet? My name’s Ryan.
Crappy picture, yes, but you get the idea. I’m a mechanical engineer, an aspiring crypto investor, and an avid reader and writer about these new things I’ve just been introduced to. I’ve blogged a little in the past on WordPress about all sorts of things. Relationships, video games, my sights seen while people-watching, you name it! My main interests here however are cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc. Steemit is a perfect hub of information for all things blockchain, so I’m here to reap the knowledge and likely make a few posts on what I’m seeing about it. Like I said above, I’m also an avid mountain biker and I dabble in photography, amongst a few other hobbies. Don’t be surprised to see a few posts here and there on topics like that too.
So like I mentioned above, I’m here primarily for the vast amount of knowledge there is here on the subject of cryptos. I’ll comment on whatever I can to hopefully get a conversation going about what’s what in this new world. I also like to know what I’m talking about so I don’t sound like a complete fool. In that affect, please please please! Don’t be afraid to comment below with links with helpful reading or anything else that might be helpful. I love talking to people! I’ll definitely respond to whatever you say, especially you’ve got a notable point or say something though provoking.
Cheers,
Ryan
