GOOOOOD MORNING STEEMIANS!
I have been postponing this post because I really didn’t wanna screw it up, however I don’t want my posts to be super scripted and feel fake, especially since life is beautiful as it is and I think the best way to share it should be to tell you my experiences and knowledge as raw as possible to make them more entertaining and hopefully useful as well to you. So this morning I decided to just do it.
Here’s a short introduction about me
My name is Saul, I’m 21 years old and I have been fully vegan for about 2 months (however I was previously a vegetarian for about 1 and a half years), this is by far one of the best decisions I have made in my life! Not only because I feel it has helped me tremendously to grow as a person but also because it has improved significantly my health and my appearance (I’ll make more detailed posts about this topics in the future since I think this information will be very useful for both vegans and also for people looking to transition or just interested in looking more into this lifestyle for health/environmental/ethical reasons)
( here is a bigass picture of me in my sexy/slutty forksoverknives t-shirt, my sister gave it to me on my birthday, she’s not vegan right now, but she really has a heart of gold)
I have always wanted to learn a handstand, however I never really trained for it, until this year that I decided to start practicing handstands every day to achieve my goal of a consistent 30 second freestanding handstand. I started this year not being able to hold it for more than 2 seconds if I was lucky, but I have to say my progress has been crazy and I can already hold it for 15 seconds (not always but it’s getting more consistent).
A little disclaimer: I was already strong enough to hold a handstand against the wall for over 30 seconds and I had already learned how to forward roll so I no longer have the fear of falling forward which is often the limiting factor for most people in their practice)
I will also love to share my progress and the routines and tips I use if you also want to learn how to stand on your hands, so please let me know.
I guess that’s all for this first post, I’m really looking forward to learning more about this platform and the awesome community that’s behind it, so if you have any tips/requests or just want to share your experience with me please do so by leaving a comment.
