Hello steemit family, I just decided to do a "introduce yourself" today. I'm going to tell you about myself  and how I learned about steemit. 
steem a "cryptocurrency" as he always does. So, back then I thought Steem and Steemit meant the same thing,I know it might seem ridiculous to say but that's what I thought, "I'm laughing at myself right now too"ðŸ˜. Anyways guys the good news for me was that Steemit did not pass me by on the second time, it bumped my way again,and this was on a Telegram group chat, a member brought up the topic on Steemit and talked about the opportunities it gives to share and connect with people, and also how Steemit gives you what you are truly worth unlike most social media platforms. It takes nothing out of you to share and it's even a plus you get paid for it. Immediately, I signed up on Steemit hoping to start a minute later. And I got a mail saying I'm on the que,and as soon as it reached my turn, I would be confirmed. I waited impatiently for about a day and a half, finally I got the mail saying,I'm being exclusively informed that I have being confirmed, I was so excited to make a post  on my page,I upvoted,commented and followed others. I was exicted to connect with some amazing people here who are ready to uplift each other. 
I'm not up to 5 days old on Steemit but I have reached 200 followers,which is amazing for me,I want to say a big thank you to everyone that followed,upvoted and commented on my post. I promise to persistent as always no matter what,I'm here on steemit to have fun and be myself, I know as human nature, a few would hate but most encourage and critisize with love, but good or bad., they all contribute.
