Well now whilst this isn't my first post on Steemit, it is the first post where I talk about my self. I guess the actual question is where do I even begin to explain who I am!
I guess the basic Information about myself would be a pretty decent start. Well here it goes: My name is Ethan van Ballegooyen however people often refer to me as Ethan Aux, for two reasons one being its a lot easier than pronouncing my surname and the second I will explain when I speak about my music career. I am currently 19 years old and I live in Durban, South Africa and no I don't have a pet lion! I went to a high school know as Glenwood. I am currently doing my First year of my Diploma in Media Practices at Boston Media House.
I am currently a freelance DJ working for different event companies and night clubs in Durban and the surrounding areas. I made my debut at and event back in '15, it was hosted by Grom events and called "A Love Odyssey", I might as well add that it was an Under 18 event, I was 16 at the time. Needless to say my DJing career sort of sky rocketed from that point at one stage I was playing for Grom Events, PowerHouse Productions, Basscity, Party in the park and last but not least Convergent. I was approached to play my first club gig at 16, Shh this is secret between you and I but I was breaking the law then as in South Africa you have to be 18 to drink, smoke or even enter a club that serves alcohol.
I also became very interested in cryptocurrencies and have been avidly mining, learning about them and HODLing a few!
