Millions of people around the world are starting to believe that the world is actually flat and motionless. And millions of other people think they've lost their minds. I've made it my purpose to document this phenomenon and to find out the truth of the matter. As a filmmaker, I suddenly find myself in the midst of the greatest story untold - the story of humans realizing that they have no idea where they live.
Finding the Curve is a feature documentary film about the flat Earth cosmology and the community behind it. As you’re waiting for the film, I'm going to be uploading vlogs and keeping a production blog here on Steemit - writing about the process, where we're at and where we're going. Production blogs are good for keeping notes and records along the way and to paint a clearer picture or map of the project, aswell as keeping you guys up to date with everything that is going on.
As I'm making the movie, I will also be uploading the Finding the Curve "proof of concept" web series - which is pretty much like an online version and a pitch for the feature film project. The web series episodes serve as promotional material and a long ass teaser for the final finished film. Alot of the footage used in the web series will also be used in the final film and it serves also as behind the scenes videos for Finding the Curve: The Movie. (not an official title)
At the end of the day, I want this film to be about people because that's what this crazy story is all about: Us humans, with our Egos as big as they are, having to come to terms with the fact that we really don't know where we are and why we are here. But what if we're meant to find out?
I will go more in depth about the story of this documentary and what the end goal is in a later blog. Probably when I finish writing the proposal for the project, I'll blog about it right after. Until then, I hope you enjoy the first episode!
