My name is Gabriel Samuel Fuentes Martín, I am a young fifteen-year-old musician, born in Caracas - Venezuela, a high school student, a fan of astronomy, art and political science, a member of the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela.
I started my musical studies when I was 10 years old, at the Simón Rodriguez Nucleus (the nuclei are schools belonging to the Orchestra System, where musical teachings are taught). There I met my first love, the classical guitar and I went into the world of the academic music. During this stage I belonged to the Antonio Lauro Venezuelan Music Group.
Four years later I managed to join the Alma Llanera Regional Orchestra of the Capital District, to which I currently belong, consisting of a selection of 120 musicians representing the Alma Llanera Program of Caracas, meticulously admitted through an audition process, the orchestra is formed by rows of different instruments of Venezuelan traditional music: the guitar, the cuatro, the mandolin, the bass, the mandola, the harp and the bandola. Nowadays I'm studying my musical studies through this orchestra, at the main headquarters of the System, the National Action Center for music.

My long-term goal is to graduate as a classical guitarist, to have a degree in political science (although I do not plan on pursuing a career) and to study conducting. As for my tastes and hobbies: I usually listen to jazz, alternative rock, electronics, among others. During my free time I like to be with my family, watch movies, go out with my friends, read, compose music, write and go to concerts as a spectator. I hope to show my art, contribute my tastes and knowledge, and learn a lot from all this wonderful virtual community. In my articles you will find a lot of music of different styles, including videos with my interpretations. Thanks for taking the time to read me. If you like, it will be a pleasure for me to join me on this new trip.
