• Write about what you are interested in
• Write well and to the best of your ability
• Engage with other users in a meaningful way.

If you do that you will find others' will come to value to contribution and spread the word about it. Many users think that posting random images that with no valid supporting words is a way to go, but will not be received well generally. You need to engage with people and capture their attention.
