Hi there,
My name is galvin and although I have been a member of Steemit for about 6 months now, I am still getting to know the ins and outs of the websites foundations. I know plenty about Steem as a cryptocurrency, and its incredible speeds, free of charge transactions and enormous network capabilities, but Steemit I am less sure about.
So I have been doing my nightly research (UNI CAN WAIT), and I have discovered the wonder of Steem Power. Now I know you may be thinking "you've been on this website for 6 months and only now discovered Steem Power?". No. I have only just discovered the WONDERS of SP, I always knew it was there and I always had a rough idea of what it does, but I didn't necessarily understand how much of an impact that could have on a post, just by upvoting or a commenting.
Anyway, having this wealth of knowledge, I now want to get much more into my blog posts than what I have been. I have started a little series of posts of my own, but they haven't got much traction (as you can imagine), as there a millions of users on this site. But I thought if I reintroduce myself with a bit more oomf and a can do attitude, then the world will fall into my lap and everyone will instantly love me (us millennials, amirite?). SO, I will now give you a little rundown of what my blog posts are about.
My blog posts are effectively a series of skills (useful or useless), which I scratch the surface of throughout a month, and report back to you my friends. I tell you how useful or useless these skills are, how much fun I had, a bit of background into why you might need these skills, how to get started on these skills if you do want to learn them and any other information that I might deem relevant or necessary to disclose. I do this reporting back in such a manner that I hope it is both enlightening and humorous, although this isn't always the case with some of the more boring skills I have covered (I've covered a whole 2). So far, I have covered the coding language known as python, and the vital modern day skill of touch typing (which I'm using right now!!). Pretty much, if you want me to do a particular thing, learn a particular skill or even do something a bit quirky, leave a comment and let me know. Otherwise, go check out my current blog and see what you think.
As always, upvote, comment, resteem, follow and godspeed.
