Is sex education is important for teenagers? if so, who do you think should take the lead role into educating the younger generation, should it be the parents role?, teachers, aunties/ uncles , social media or from their peers?
Below is a real life scenario of a teenage girl who wrote in for advise . please lets look into this!
GIRL: Please there is something bothering me but I don't know how to go about it.
Please advise me or you can let your followers advise me pls
My nipple is small, like its not that visible.
My friends in school used to tease me with it, they used to tell me to go sleep with a man so that he will suck it out (am still a virgin).. Please is there any way I can make it boldly out?
So here is a little girl who clearly uncomfortable with her body development, she wants to do something about that, but the first advise she gets was from her peers , which was wrong in all levels.
secondly, instead of further seeking advise from a trusted family member, she brought the issue out to social media asking for advise. in which case, if she was a little comfortable with discussing such matters with her mom, or aunt or a trusted older person, she would have been able to get more appropriate advise?
let us discuss this community sensitive issue and possibly learn from this
