This is my story. I am an American who now lives in the Philippines with my family. How I got here was a long process as I love America but I did not like what was going on in my country relating to political changes and daily life challenges. Needless to say I was offered a mixed martial arts contract to fight in the URCC ( A professional mma league out of Asia). I found out I was not that good of a fighter as I did not like to hurt my opponents. Hahahaha. Crazy right.... I live in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental and it is a challenging and I would dare to say very hard life compared to my past life in America. The one thing I like so much about the Philippines - you are really held up to a high standard. I mean your character is everything and unless you are born into a very wealthy family there are no shortcuts. You have to smile, work hard and never give up... People don't care what your skin color is or your background history. They will only judge you by how you respect other people and think about their feelings deeply before you take action.... Well I don't want to bore you more but we have 3 beautiful children now and I have been with my wife for 7 years. I would say we are struggling but we are a very happy family. I will be writing stories about such topics as diets, beautiful places to visit off the beaten path, alternatives to bitcoins, self defense and meditation.
