Being a student teacher sometime not be a dream for most of people in around us. Sometime we simply want to cover the major without thinking someday after graduation we can be a real teacher. Even though being a teacher is great chosen for those who inspirit and love it.
I believe that all of human in this world actually is teacher, but most of them just do not release this act. Because of teacher, not only gives knowledge and advice but also gives hope and dream to everyone.
I and myself proud of being a student teacher and dreaming for being a real teacher who understand children aloud and fill their need as much as I know. I would like to say Hi to everyone who read this article. It’s my pleasure to meet you all, guys.
Finally, let’s come to my introduction, my name is Ghea Azzahra. I go by Ghea. I am student teacher in one of the oldest university in Aceh named Ar- Raniry University. I am in seventh semester in English education department and still trying to grab as much knowledge and experience as I can.
Actually, teaching is a skill where someone have to speak or explain something to others and get their understanding after a whole explanation.
However, we cannot simply speak or explain something in front of much people if we do not have any confident. When the first time I am trying teach as volunteer in a community named International Human Foundation (IHF) in Banda Aceh, I feel totally nervous. Don’t you feel the same thing like I did? It’s really not as simple as when you are trying to speak in the mirror.
What you need to do for understanding teaching is keep practicing and watching the activity of teaching to recharge your experience and make it as a habit. After those activity, you simply need to fall in love in teaching to build a good relationship with it.
After several months teaching in the IHF even though just a volunteer, I found a lot of experience how to understand classroom management and comprehend students’ attitude.
In this community, all students feel free to get knowledge without paying school fee, but it was closed six month ago for unknown reason. This is something unfortunate, I am gonna miss my first student that gives me a lot of feedback. Here we are,
