I decided to write this post to express my gratitude to Steem and you, Steem community.
Thank you for revolutionizing the concept of content business, and the early adopters too for their adoption.
We can finally reduce the huge discrepancy between the profits of the platforms and our own, common mortals who work and produce content that is the " vital lymph " of their platforms.
We can't deny that it's thanks to them if we use some services and have the possibility of using one instead of a myriad of them, but the problem at the bottom remains the excessive profit of these platforms. On December 28, 2017, the market capitalization of only three companies in the review and social networking industry was over $524 billion.
$524 billion.
Congratulations to the influencers who are able to generate additional revenue! ☺
Seriously, it's a staggering figure and I'm convinced that sooner or later everyone will realize that there are decentralized and fairer alternatives.

I'm Gherardo, I'm 23 years and Italian. I've launched my first app by myself when I was 19, worked on it for around 2 years until I had to close it due to lack of fundings and experience.
