Time is what this life is about.
My name is Jessica and I have been focused on time during my journey into cryptocurrency. I realized that we are embarking on future times. A future where blockchain is useful to governments, citizens, and currency. How deep does the rabbit hole go? I have so many questions, and with every article I read and every video I watch, I feel like I have a greater understanding, yet simultaneously I have so many more questions.
Scouring through so much info, I get sooo excited! In order for Bitcoin to replace our current situation with currency, then that means just ONE Bitcoin will be worth at least $1,000,000 right? And Ethereum with its smart contracts, is going to change the game with how we transmit and store data and info, right? I can't wait to be a part of this great community and culture. But then Fear and Doubt kick in. Who is Satoshi and are we certain it is one person? What happens if Satoshi converts his Bitcoin to Fiat currency? Will the system crash? Are we on the path to a one world currency and Satoshi is actually the IMF? AAARGH! So much Uncertainty and doubt.
I realized that to be a part of this great community, takes a commitment from me to engage and learn. But it comes down to time. I sometimes wonder if I can really do this. I mean as excited as I am, I have to unplug from it all and just curl up with my 6 year old and watch Pepa Pig. My kids are my world, and I realize that I am going down this path to help make a great life for them and for me. If life traversed in reverse, I would have all the answers and be able to calmly navigate this crypto world which is all so new for me.
I don't have all the answers, but I am open minded and ready to discover this new universe. I look forward to meeting so many of you! Today is my third day on this new platform and I want to invite my friends and family. This is my introduction to the Steem-verse (is that right or would it be Steemit-verse).
