I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a naturopathic doctor in Ontario, Canada and health is my passion. Being that I am not sure if I want to expose my identity just yet, you can just call me Doc.

To be honest, I am somewhat cautious about what I should be writing since I am identifying myself as a professional and am responsible for the advise I give. Therefor, I will not be giving any direct dosages for treating "condition x", rather the goal of my thread will be to educate people on how the body works and what it is capable of. If you do have a medical condition I would encourage you to talk to your local open minded medical or naturopathic doctor about the info you have learned and how to best apply it to your own unique situation.
A lot of what we consider possible in health very much depends on our worldview. Naturopathic medicine has a much broader worldview then conventional Western medicine. As a result there is a lot more that we can offer the growing trend of chronic disease that is happening worldwide. Health is not by accident, it is a group of decisions that you make which results in either enabling or undermining your body's physiological processes.
Seeing how naturopathic medicine is portrayed in the media in Canada has opened my eyes to how media shapes and manipulates our perceptions. As a result I am more likely to believe the small independent voice that speaks out against big corporate interests especially if they are well articulated and rational.
I hope that i will be able to create some interesting content for your viewing pleasure. If you could leave a message about topics that you would like to see me write about I would appreciate it. :)
