This is my introduction. I won't disclose my name until I consider this necessary so in the meantime you can call me C or ICU, right now I reside in Antwerp, Belgium.
I have a very wide range of interests, including cryptocurrencies but I mostly spend my time educating myself on privacy and trustworthiness of data while also trying to paint a picture on the implications of future technologies.
This journey is what I'm planning to share with you all, using Blockchain technology to both curate and securely store these publications.
Since the year 2000 technology has picked up a very fast pace and is starting to (or has) overtake(n) us. Up to the 90's reading a private letter was a punishable act, now emails are being scanned by bot's to set-up individual profiles that are sold to company's and government's in an effort to manipulate (using ads).
Privacy is under attack but people have "nothing to hide", well, that's how most perceive it.
Most of my publications will be related to new or future technology and privacy but I won't shy away from completely different subject's like the political, economical or philosophical. .
My love for verified information doesn't mean I'm not open to wild speculation or putting thing's into perspective since I believe pretty much nothing is certain.
Having said that, I welcome criticism and different opinions or way's of approaching certain subject's with open arm's.
