Hey, I'm Mark Butts and I would love to introduce myself to the Steemit community.
First of all, in less than two weeks I will turn 55 years old (I can finally eat off the Denny's senior menu). I live in lovely Pensacola, Florida, home of the Blue Angels and currently work in a doctor's office as a medical office specialist.
I have a lovely Filipina wife whom I met and married in 1996. I moved to Pensacola from Piqua, Ohio in May of 1996 and met my future brother-in-law in church and, he told me all about this wonderful woman in the Philippines. I began writing her on May 9, 1996 and finally flew 8,850 miles to meet her in September 1996. We were married on October 12, 1996!
Secondly, I have always worked for someone else. It has been my desire to work online as my own boss ever since I have been married, but I have yet to find success with an online business. I am hoping that writing for money might just be the ticket that I am looking for.
Thirdly, I am a Christian. As a young man, I knew there was a massive hole in my heart and that hole could only be filled by accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior. No matter who you are, where you are from, what you believe, we all need Jesus.
Finally, it is my desire to help others. When I first tried to get online with a business, there was no one I knew to help me. I don't want it to be that way for others so I have dedicated myself to do what I can to help others succeed online.
