It’s been awhile since we’ve introduced ourselves, and with all the new people around here, we thought we would take a few minutes to share some things about our family! We have been extremely honored to be apart of this amazing community here on steemit, that we would love if you would share a little bit about yourselves in the comments below! ☺️ So, we are The Rasmussen’s a family of 5 that has a huge passion for traveling and being outdoors! -
• We do not travel full-time, but we put a huge priority on traveling and being outdoors—hiking and camping with our kids! • Cory and I started dating while on separate continents and continued a long distance relationship for majority of our dating and engagement! • Cory is a third culture kid and grew up traveling the world. We come from very different worlds/circumstances! I didn’t grow up traveling at all! • We have been in the process of adoption for 6 years! (Long story) • Combined we have been to over 35+ countries and lived in 5 of those! We hope to visit many many more! • The outdoors is a way for us to reconnect and focus on the things that really matter! • The longest hike our kids have done is 9 miles! • The countries we want to visit next are Jordan, Japan, Kenya, Switzerland, Norway, Chile, Finland and Bali. • One of us is deathly afraid of the ocean!
