Hello Steem community. I just arrived in your town this month. I heard about this amazing platform and just had to come and experience it myself. I thought I would start off my first post with an introduction to myself and what I do.
Hello, my name is Will and I have an uncanny ability for making others wealthy by association. In fact, my friends call me "the man with the golden touch".
I first noticed my ability after college graduation when I took my first job as salesman/photographer for a lady who owned 6 portrait studios in major malls. Shortly after being hired, the studio I was assigned to became her most profitable. She then sent me to her worst performer and within months, it was her best performer. She repeated this process of sending me from studio to studio. I was just out of college with no experience and every studio I touched of hers turned to gold.
After a few years I left her studio to open my own. My first client was an unknown drummer named Tommy Lee (he went by Tom Bass back then). Tommy came in asking me if I would come to Hollywood and photograph his band. I befriended the musician and we later became roommates. Not long after, Tommy co-founded a band called #MotleyCrue. Tommy and Motley Crue went on to incredible success selling over 100 million records and receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
After Tommy’s success, I got the show biz bug. In the late 80’s I started attending acting school. Attending school one day, my teacher invited me to participate in a short film for an unknown impressionist, Danny Gans, who needed an audition tape to break into show biz. This was the only professional production I ever appeared in at my school. Danny Gans went on to become Entertainer Of The Year in Las Vegas 11 times. Up until Danny’s death in 2009, Danny was the top performer in Las Vegas. Good thing Danny had me in his film.
By the late 1990’s I began working in the casino industry. Shortly after taking the reigns as Satellite Director for the world’s largest card casino, an unusual boom in #poker occurred. My department achieved an 800% growth rate in just 2 short years. The casino experienced record-breaking prize pools and turnouts in all their tournaments and satellites. Millionaires were made daily. Sadly, four years after my departure from the tournament world, the prize pool on the casino's main tournament dropped to 50% of what it used to be. Coincidence? Or did the golden touch leave with me?
In the early 2000’s, there was a fledgling TV show that came up with the idea to broadcast final tables of poker tournaments using cameras to see the players cards. The show was called “World Poker Tour”. I appeared in two episodes for the first season and two episodes of the second season. By the end of the second year, the WPT was the highest rated TV show in the Travel Channel's history. The WPT set the standards for all other poker shows that followed.
In 2011, I heard of a direct selling company called #Jeunesse that had launched just two years prior. I have never been involved with direct selling before. The company had only two products. Nevertheless I flew to Florida, and after meeting the owners, decided to form a business partnership with Jeunesse. Four years later the company became the first direct-selling company in history to do $1 billion in annual sales within it's first 6 years. Amway couldn't do it, Herbalife couldn't do it, MaryKay failed. Some traditional companies that have done that are Facebook, Google, and Apple. Jeunesse had joined the ranks of the elite. Not because of what I did for them, but just by association.

In closing, some could argue that I was just in the right place at the right time, not only once, but several times. While others will claim the odds against all this happening by coincidence is too great. Whether I have a golden touch are not, the fact remains, great things happen to the people I associate with.
