What if you, like this account, just started out on Hive and wanted to grow it without investing money?

If you’ve read some posts on Hive, you probably will have come across some post’s that state:

you should write quality content and not give up. Then people will appreciate your content and your account will grow.

But what if you wanted to take matters in your own hand, rather than waiting to be discovered?

So, let’s say that you, like this account, have started without any money and want to grow. Then there are a couple things you should know.

You probably have noticed that you not only earn Hive and Hive-engine tokens from people upvoting your blog, but also when they upvote your comments.

Since your own 100% upvote is likely still worth 0,000 Hive, you need other people’s upvotes to grow your Hive and Hive-engine tokens.

There are a few other options for earning a bit of money for free, that you could use to grow your Hive power and or other tokens, but I will get to tomorrow.

My best tip for now is to engage with the people in the ctp tribe. Look for the ctp tag. They are some of the most generous people on hive and will very often upvote your comments when they are thoughtful, meaningful etc.
