Hi, my name is Ivanildo Soares, and I’m an animation artist based in São Paulo, Brazil.

(PS. keyboard overdose was just for fun)
I discovered Hive through BLESS SKATE (). I had gone to get a haircut with Deley (Bless owner), and during our conversation about how exhausting today's social media-driven internet has become, he introduced me to the world of Web3 and Hive.
As a digital artist, I was immediately intrigued by this new way of connecting and sharing creative work online. That curiosity led me to join Hive and explore its possibilities.
I’ve been working as an animator and animation director for over a decade in the Brazilian animation industry, primarily on TV series. Some of the most notable projects I’ve worked on include Wake Up, Carlo! on Netflix and Brazil’s most popular animated series, Jorel’s Brother (Irmão do Jorel) on Cartoon Network.

Alongside my commercial work, I’ve always had a passion for creating original animations. I’ve produced some short films that have been featured in festivals, and I’ve had the chance to attend animation events abroad, including in Lisbon and Santiago—amazing experiences that connected me with lifelong friends and collaborators. Most recently I went to the Annecy Festival in France, the biggest animation festival in the world to pitch some independent projects.

I also run a YouTube channel where I share smaller animated shorts and collaborative projects—pieces that might not be festival-ready, but that I still love creating.
More recently, I’ve been building my own studio, Loberoso Studio, where I produce personal projects and offer animation services. Right now, I’m working on a new short film called Nemito, a tropical cyberpunk animation set in a futuristic Brazil. You can follow the process on Instagram at "_film".
Funding creative work without capital is always a challenge, but I’m passionate about pushing forward.

Beyond animation and illustration, I’ve also become more conscious of physical well-being in recent years. I started with calisthenics, then joined a gym, and recently began practicing Taekwondo—a childhood dream of mine. I also dabble in music and have been learning to rollerblade (it’s a lot of fun!).
Balancing screen time with kicks and wheels—staying healthy and having fun!
What I’m hoping to find on Hive is a space where I can freely create and share my work—without the algorithmic pressure of platforms like Instagram—and, ideally, build a path where my original projects can become my primary focus.
Thanks for reading, and I’m excited to be part of this community!
