First of all, welcome to my blog. I am José Hernández, I’m from Venezuela and I’m an art student in La Universidad del Zulia.
I am currently living in a city called Maracaibo, but I really hope I can soon leave to another country. As it is well known, things aren’t exactly good around here, and even though I hope everything will get better eventually, it doesn’t seem like anything’s going to change anytime soon. That is why I’m looking for a better future somewhere else after I graduate.
As you can imagine, I am more of a right hemisphere kind of person. I love everything related to arts. I am a music lover, more specifically rock and many other genres related to it. Also, for 11 years, my favorite band has been Panic! At The Disco. I even got their logo as a tattoo.
I also think I’m kind of between being and introvert and extrovert. As long as someone is willing to be my friend, I will be too. This is why I obviously hope I can make many friends on this platform, because this is an experience that benefits us all.
One of my main hobbies is playing videogames. If we’re talking about genres, then survival horror is definitely my thing; however, I enjoy almost any kind of game. My favorite ones are the Fatal Frame and Silent Hill sagas. Other games like Uncharted, InFamous and Bioshock are also on my list. On the other hand, I definitely enjoy playing Indie games, and so a huge part of my blog will be dedicated to them.
My favorite sport since I was a little kid is soccer. My favorite teams are AC Milan and FC Barcelona. I also really admire my country’s team; even though they didn’t make it to the world championship, I think they are good enough to be there someday. But, as of now, I'll be supporting Argentina’s team this year.
Now, let’s talk about what my SteemIt posts are going to be about! I want to mention this blog will be entirely dedicated to digital related stuff, mainly Indie games, like I mentioned before. I want to show and introduce you to hidden jewels in this genre, making recommendations and reviews about them, so you can try them out and have a good time playing something different.
I will also be making posts about animation. A group of students I’m part of are working on an animated short film about a local legend related to sunflowers. So I will most likely be publishing all about the making process, the decisions made and finally the finished work. And last but not least, I will also be making posts about digital illustrations, because I enjoy them a lot.
What I want is for my posts to be dynamic, to make you see and read interesting stuff, and also know a little more about me. I am willing to look at more content and be able to share ideas and points of view with the SteemIt community. Without anything more to add, let’s see each other on my next post!
