Well hello there!
I know, I know... it’s been THREE MONTHS since I last posted on here! It’s been awhile, but darnit, life just gets in the way sometimes.
So I’m here to introduce myself again, and this time for realzzzz...
So that’s me. My real name is Jessica. I have three kids and work in education. I live with my partner John and our two cats.
For the past two and a half years, I’ve been really pushing myself to write more. That’s part why I haven’t posted on here in awhile. I’ve been writing A TON.
Last month, I wrote five stories in six weeks for three different competitions. Over the next week or so, I plan on posting some of those stories. I’m still waiting to hear results from most of the competitions, but within the next two weeks I should have final results for one competition and preliminary results for the other. I also have two short stories submitted to anthologies that I’m waiting to hear back about.
Speaking of anthologies, I have stories currently published in two! See below:
I HIGHLY recommend Writing to Stem Your Existential Dread. It’s cheap and all stories are 1000 words or less! (Both books can be found on amazon and both are available in digital forms for super cheap!)
So yeah, between all that writing, three children, a new position, and life in general, I haven’t had a whole lot of free time.
But Imma try to get on here more and post some of my stories. Keep your eyes open and check them out! Also, be sure to leave comments! I always respond!
