I am a 23 year old, wife to a great guy, and mother of two sweet girls. I stay at home and run my two businesses while taking care of the daily housework- and as I was typing this, I realized I never did start that second wash on the cloth diapers. Be right back.
For work, I am a consultant with Usborne Books & More, and run my own business named Mara's Menageries (crocheted things, second-hand clothing resale, jewelry, etc.) I am always crocheting something new to add to my shop, or just as a challenge for myself.
For hobbies and pleasure, I love the outdoors; hiking, birding, herping, boating, photography, etc. I've had an interest in ornithology as long as I can remember. The Audubon Society's 'Field Guide to North American Birds' was the very first field guide I ever owned, and I thought it was the most amazing book in the world - I changed my mind after getting The Sibley Guide several Christmases later. ;)
At home we have laid back days, read books, watch educational YouTube videos, use cloth diapers, and take lots of naps (with an 18 month old and a 2.5 month old, these are a must).
So there's just a brief intro and sneak peek at what's to come in later posts! In joining Steemit, I'm hoping to bring a little more traffic to our blog, and hopefully some extra income to our growing family.
